Brenda

We met right there in church, and the story began

Best friends ever since, like it was part of the plan

You always have a shoulder when I need it the most

You're caring and you're thoughtful, keeping everybody close

You see what people need before they even have to say

And you always show up just to brighten up the day

Oh Brenda, you're a gift from God above

He put you in my path for a purpose and for love

My favorite travel partner, my beautiful friend

We'll be laughing together right up to the end

When it's just you and me, we let go of the tether

Yeah, we are two crazies when we are together

We take off on those sudden trips without a real plan

Eating lots of ice cream every chance that we can

We never really worry 'bout the places that we go

Just making up the memories and going with the flow

Like taking that wrong turn when the daylight faded out

Getting lost behind the dumpsters, laughing till we shout

Oh Brenda, you're a gift from God above

He put you in my path for a purpose and for love

My favorite travel partner, my beautiful friend

We'll be laughing together right up to the end

When it's just you and me, we let go of the tether

Yeah, we are two crazies when we are together

You always see the needs of everyone around

With you by my side, I am on solid ground

I'm so thankful for the journey and the miles we have logged

Every single inside joke is a blessing from God

Oh Brenda, you're a gift from God above

He put you in my path for a purpose and for love

My favorite travel partner, my beautiful friend

We'll be laughing together right up to the end

When it's just you and me, we let go of the tether

Yeah, we are two crazies when we are together
