Drew and Susan

Drew and Susan, you walk with a gentle pace

Guiding your people through valleys of grace

You show us what it means to be patient and wise

Reflecting the mercy in our Savior's eyes

Through every season, you steady the line

Pointing our hearts to a love so divine

Oh, God is good, His mercy runs deep

He watches over the flock that you keep

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son

The greatest redemption that could ever be done

When the burden is heavy and the journey is long

The Lord is my strength, the Lord is my song

In every trial, you teach us to wait

To trust in His timing and rest in our faith

With a loving embrace and an open door

You show us the grace we are living for

You carry the light when the shadows fall

Answering heaven’s most beautiful call

Oh, God is good, His mercy runs deep

He watches over the flock that you keep

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son

The greatest redemption that could ever be done

When the burden is heavy and the journey is long

The Lord is my strength, the Lord is my song

You preach John three sixteen, the love that He gave

The Son who came down to seek and to save

You live out that truth in the way that you care

With every kind word and every quiet prayer

Oh, God is good, His mercy runs deep

He watches over the flock that you keep

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son

The greatest redemption that could ever be done

When the burden is heavy and the journey is long

The Lord is my strength, the Lord is my song

Yes, the Lord is my strength, and He is our song
