Glen

I still smile when I think of that day

Dinner with your sister, laughing the hours away

I saw the man that heaven designed

So funny and lovable, so gentle and kind

You had a light that I couldn't ignore

And through all our seasons, I just love you more

Glen, you stand by my side at my lowest place

You show me the beauty of a patient, faithful grace

Thank you for believing in who I can be

Thank you for the way you always love me

A gift from the Lord, my partner and friend

I will thank God for you until the very end

You walk with the Word and you let Jesus lead

Living a life that is faithful indeed

When I am broken and I stumble in the dark

I find my shelter in your Christian heart

You never rush, you just hold my hand tight

Guiding our home with a heavenly light

Glen, you stand by my side at my lowest place

You show me the beauty of a patient, faithful grace

Thank you for believing in who I can be

Thank you for the way you always love me

A gift from the Lord, my partner and friend

I will thank God for you until the very end

When the weight of the world is too heavy to bear

You lift up my spirit with a quiet prayer

You see all my flaws but you choose to stay

Washing the doubt and the shadows away

Oh Glen, you stand by my side at my lowest place

You show me the beauty of a patient, faithful grace

Thank you for believing in who I can be

Thank you for the way you always love me

My faithful husband, my partner and friend

I will thank God for you until the very end
