Chad

The music echoed through the sanctuary doors

I wasn't looking, but my eyes found yours

We met at church in the Sunday light

And my spirit knew that the timing was right

You were singing the hymns, holding the truth

That was the moment I started falling for you

Oh, Chad, you love Jesus, and you love me too

There is a beautiful, steady grace in you

We don't have to worry what the future will bring

When we are resting under His wing

Walking together, guided from above

God knows the plans He has for us, my love

You have a patience that quiets my mind

The kind of wisdom that is so hard to find

You treat my heart with such deep respect

A gentle devotion I could never expect

You lead with your faith in all that you do

And every day I grow closer to you

Oh, Chad, you love Jesus, and you love me too

There is a beautiful, steady grace in you

We don't have to worry what the future will bring

When we are resting under His wing

Walking together, guided from above

God knows the plans He has for us, my love

We build our foundation on the prayers that we pray

Knowing He goes before us to open the way

Whatever tomorrow is holding in store

I know that I'm going to love you much more

Oh, Chad, you love Jesus, and you love me too

There is a beautiful, steady grace in you

We don't have to worry what the future will bring

When we are resting under His wing

Walking together, guided from above

God knows the plans He has for us, my love

Yes, God knows the plans He has for us, my love
