Keisha

September twentieth, the moment we met

I held one of my angels, a day I won't forget

I looked at your face and my heart skipped a beat

A beautiful baby, so perfectly sweet

And looking at you now, as the years quickly flew

You're still my beautiful baby, I see the light in you

Oh, Keisha, you're loving, you're patient, you're strong

I knew the young lady you'd be all along

When life gets too hard and the struggles increase

Mama will be there to pick up the pieces

If God is for us, who can be against us?

I'll always love you, my beautiful Keisha

I never gave up on you, not for a day

I watched you blossom and find your own way

Now you have a family, a life of your own

And I see the wonderful mother you've grown

You raise up your children the best that you can

Guiding their steps and holding their hands

Oh, Keisha, you're loving, you're patient, you're strong

I knew the young lady you'd be all along

When life gets too hard and the struggles increase

Mama will be there to pick up the pieces

If God is for us, who can be against us?

I'll always love you, my beautiful Keisha

Continue to trust God, continue to pray

Just keep your faith and He'll guide your way

He'll take you farther than you've ever been

Through every valley and every new wind

And always remember, no matter how small

Your mom, Felicia, will answer your call

Oh, Keisha, you're loving, you're patient, you're strong

I knew the young lady you'd be all along

When life gets too hard and the struggles increase

Mama will be there to pick up the pieces

If God is for us, who can be against us?

I'll always love you, my beautiful Keisha

Happy birthday, Keisha

Love, Mom
