Neat

I rest my head right in your lap

And feel the peace that you provide

The most gentle hugs I’ve ever known

With all your wisdom as my guide

Mama Neat, you have a beautiful smile

That shines through every single mile

You are patient, you are kind

The purest love I’ll ever find

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you

Our faithful Black Queen, so powerful and true

We appreciate all you do for us and the kids

For every sacrifice and all the love you give

We love you, Mama, more than words could ever show

You are appreciated, and we want to let you know

We spend hours on the phone, talking about nothing

But those are the moments that I cherish the most

Getting our nails done, laughing in the kitchen

Cooking up a meal while we hold each other close

I watch you playing with the grandkids on the floor

And every single day, we just love you more

You’d give the shirt right off your back to anyone in need

You never let a single hardship keep you down

You give the best advice, planting wisdom like a seed

A worthy, loving woman wearing heaven's crown

We are so thankful for the strength you always share

A living testimony in your tender care

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you

Our faithful Black Queen, so powerful and true

We appreciate all you do for us and the kids

For every sacrifice and all the love you give

We love you, Mama Neat, more than words could ever show

You are appreciated, and we want the world to know
