Kim

I remember the day that we first crossed paths

The beautiful answer to what I had asked

I’d been talking to God, looking up at the sky

Praying for a love that would never run dry

Then you walked in, bringing light to the room

A tender heart chasing away all the gloom

I knew right then, just looking at you

That every single prayer I whispered came true

Kim, you're the definition of what love is

Living out the words of His promises

You're patient and kind, generous and true

I see chapter thirteen when I look at you

Wise and supportive, a passionate fire

You're everything my soul could ever desire

When the world gets heavy and the days get long

You're the steady hand that keeps me strong

You give all you have with a generous grace

And put a peaceful smile right back on my face

There’s a quiet wisdom in the depths of your soul

And a passionate spirit that makes me whole

Kim, you're the definition of what love is

Living out the words of His promises

You're patient and kind, generous and true

I see chapter thirteen when I look at you

Wise and supportive, a passionate fire

You're everything my soul could ever desire

They say love bears all things, believes and endures

I didn't know what that meant till my hand was in yours

It never fails, it doesn't boast or demand

You show me that truth every day that we stand

'Cause Kim, you're the definition of what love is

Living out the words of His promises

You're patient and kind, generous and true

I see chapter thirteen when I look at you

Wise and supportive, a passionate fire

You're exactly what I asked for, my one true desire
