Loretta Moore

The room is quiet, but I feel you near

A caring spirit that could calm my fear

Loretta Moore, you were our steady ground

I close my eyes and listen for the sound

Of your sweet laugh echoing down the hall

A loving woman who had grace for all

Now you are resting in the Savior's arms

Safe in His peace and far away from harm

You left a legacy of six lives growing strong

A mother's heart is where we still belong

I miss your presence, but you're walking in the light

Loretta, heaven is a little brighter tonight

I look back now at all the days we had

I know there were seasons that I made you sad

I was a problem child, so hard to understand

But you just held me with a gentle hand

I am so sorry for the heavy tears you cried

You never pushed my restless heart aside

Now you are resting in the Savior's arms

Safe in His peace and far away from harm

You left a legacy of six lives growing strong

A mother's heart is where we still belong

I miss your presence, but you're walking in the light

Loretta, heaven is a little brighter tonight

Lord, thank You for the mother that You gave

For every quiet sacrifice she made

She showed this family what Your mercy means

The purest love that I have ever seen

Now you are resting in the Savior's arms

Safe in His peace and far away from harm

You left a legacy of six lives growing strong

A mother's heart is where we still belong

I miss your laugh, but you're walking in the light

Loretta, rest inside His love tonight
