Sharon

Look at the life you've built from the start

Walking the years with a gentle heart

From the day you stood up and made that vow

To the beautiful family that surrounds you now

Sharon, you brought six sweet babies to the light

Poured out your soul and loved them with all your might

Through the joy and the trials, you learned how to bend

A mother's deep devotion that will never end

Yesterday is dead, so let it lay

Forget the old shadows, let them wash away

Tomorrow hasn't come, it's out of your hands

Resting in the Lord and His holy plans

Oh, today is here, right in front of you

Breathe in the morning and use it, Sharon, use it through and through

The road hasn't always been easy to tread

There was heavy sorrow in the tears you shed

Two precious angels called back to the sky

You held onto faith when you had to say goodbye

And now two are in the army, standing so brave

You pray for their safety, for His grace to save

Through the loss and the worry, you still stand tall

With a resilient spirit that carries it all

Yesterday is dead, so let it lay

Forget the old shadows, let them wash away

Tomorrow hasn't come, it's out of your hands

Resting in the Lord and His holy plans

Oh, today is here, right in front of you

Breathe in the morning and use it, Sharon, use it through and through

You kept your heart kind when the fire was hot

You gave to your family everything you got

So lift up your head, let the morning sun shine

Every breath that you take is a gift by design

Oh, Sharon, the strength in your soul is a light

Guiding your steps out of the darkest night

Yesterday is dead, let the past depart

Tomorrow hasn't come, so just trust your heart

Today is the blessing, the moment is now

Step into the light, He will show you how

Yes, today is here, right in front of you

Embrace it, Sharon, use it, let God make it new

Use today, Sharon, He will carry you through
