Grover, Gloria, Dorothy, Muchie, Antonio, Carlene, Charlene, Darlene, Earl and Tyrell

We started out where the campfires burned

A youth camp summer where our spirits turned

Some of us young, some with silver hair

But we all bowed our heads in the very same prayer

Now the years have passed but the bond is strong

A choir of believers in a lifelong song

We are friends forever, walking in His light

Keep doing what is good, keep doing what is right

God loves you deeply, wherever you roam

We're holding onto faith, and Heaven is our home

Yes, Heaven is our home

Through the miles between us, the telephone rings

And I hear the grace that your fellowship brings

Grover, Gloria, Dorothy, Tyrell

Muchie, Antonio, the Spirit is well

Carlene, Charlene, Darlene, and Earl

A circle of prayer bringing light to the world

We are friends forever, walking in His light

Keep doing what is good, keep doing what is right

God loves you deeply, wherever you roam

We're holding onto faith, and Heaven is our home

Yes, Heaven is our home

You are wise when I'm wandering, kind when I fall

Funny and encouraging through it all

So loving and helpful, a light in the dark

Prayer partners carrying the very same spark

We are friends forever, walking in His light

Keep doing what is good, keep doing what is right

God loves you deeply, wherever you roam

We're holding onto faith, and Heaven is our home

Yes, Heaven is our home

Friends forever, never walking alone

God loves you all, and Heaven is our home
