Kimberley

The day I gave you life, my precious Kimberley

I didn't know how much you'd end up teaching me

We grew up together, taking on the world

My forever best friend, my beautiful girl

You have such a kind heart, so loving and true

But I see the heavy doubts whispering to you

You feel so unworthy, like you don't belong

But I'm here to tell you, you've always been strong

You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength

God is so faithful, He will go to any length

To show you you are loved, to pull you from the dark

So fight for your happiness, and trust your beautiful heart

Philippians four thirteen is the promise that you need

You are worthy, my daughter, and you're finally free

We've weathered some bad storms, the heavy and the cold

But we made so many memories, more precious than gold

He let his own jealousy try to divide

He tried to tear us apart and keep you locked inside

But our love prevailed, our connection held the line

You made it out of the fire, and now it's time to shine

You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength

God is so faithful, He will go to any length

To show you you are loved, to pull you from the dark

So fight for your happiness, and trust your beautiful heart

Philippians four thirteen is the promise that you need

You are worthy, my daughter, and you're finally free

The pain of that marriage, the ugly and the bad

Is a testimony now of the grace you've always had

You never give up, you're a survivor through and through

You need determination now for the life waiting for you

God gave you His strength when you were on your knees

Now stand up and claim your joy, claim your victory

'Cause you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength

God is so faithful, He will go to any length

To show you you are loved, to pull you from the dark

So fight for your happiness, and trust your beautiful heart

Philippians four thirteen is the promise that you need

My precious Kimberley, you're stronger than you've ever been
