Tabitha

You didn't share my last name when we first met

But you're an amazing friend I could never forget

The way you love my children like they're your own

You bring so much warmth to the walls of our home

You're thoughtful and friendly, a beautiful soul

With a caring embrace that makes my world whole

Tabitha, you're the sister I don't have right now

You hold me together when I don't know how

Through the thick and the thin, the good and the bad

You're the truest companion that I've ever had

'Cause love is patient, and love is kind

A best friend like you is a rare thing to find

I look at the mountains we've had to cross

Without a best friend like you, I know I'd be lost

You're a trustworthy hand when the tears start to fall

Then we're silly and fun, just laughing through it all

I don't know where I'd be if you weren't by my side

You're my chosen family, my faithful guide

Tabitha, you're the sister I don't have right now

You hold me together when I don't know how

Through the thick and the thin, the good and the bad

You're the truest companion that I've ever had

'Cause love is patient, and love is kind

A best friend like you is a rare thing to find

With God all things are possible, I know that it's true

Because He worked a miracle when He gave me you

Through every season, whatever comes our way

I will love you always, more than words can say

Oh, Tabitha, you're the sister I don't have right now

You hold me together when I don't know how

Through the thick and the thin, the good and the bad

You're the truest companion that I've ever had

'Cause love is patient, and love is kind

A best friend like you is a rare thing to find
