Samantha

It started with a message on a glowing screen

A little text to see where this could lead

We bought our tickets, sat there in the dark

The movie playing while you stole my heart

You drove me home, the engine running low

Neither one of us wanted to let go

Leaning in before you had to drive away

That first kiss changed my world that day

Samantha, with those beautiful blue eyes

Smart and creative, my favorite surprise

You care for the kids, so loyal and true

I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have you

You're the heart of our home, keeping us on track

And I love you to the moon and back

Week number two, we got a hotel room

Got eaten up by bedbugs, waking up too soon

But we laughed it off and we drove away

To the quiet shores of Jones Lake that day

Looking at the water, everything was new

Through the funny moments and the perfect views

Sitting by the lake beneath the open sky

I knew I wanted you by my side

Samantha, with those beautiful blue eyes

Smart and creative, my favorite surprise

You care for the kids, so loyal and true

I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have you

You're the heart of our home, keeping us on track

And I love you to the moon and back

Two years went by in a beautiful blur

Two perfect kids with a mother like her

We said our vows and we unlocked the door

To a home of our own, who could ask for more?

You're encouraging, amazing, my guiding light

Making every heavy day feel alright

Oh, Samantha, with those beautiful blue eyes

Smart and creative, my favorite surprise

You care for the kids, so loyal and true

I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have you

Forever my wife, keeping us on track

I love you to the moon and back

Yeah, I love you to the moon and back
