Diane

I remember the morning we met in the church

Now I know exactly where you’re gonna be

You're a beautiful soul with a wonderful laugh

Sitting in the pew right next to me

We open our hymnals and share in the Word

Rejoicing together in the house of the Lord

Oh, let's kick it to the choir, let the voices ring!

Every time I’m with you, my spirit wants to sing

From the Sunday morning worship to the end of life

Diane, you will always be my sister in Christ

When the preacher says amen and the service is through

I know exactly what we're gonna do

We're going out to eat, sharing blessings and grace

Then we go out shopping all over the place

You keep me laughing right down the aisle

You light up my Sunday with your beautiful smile

Oh, let's kick it to the choir, let the voices ring!

Every time I’m with you, my spirit wants to sing

From the Sunday morning worship to the end of life

Diane, you will always be my sister in Christ

More than a friend, you're a gift from above

Bound by our faith and the Savior's sweet love

Through all of the seasons, the joy and the cheer

I know we'll be singing for all of our years

So let's kick it to the choir, let the voices ring!

Every time I’m with you, my spirit wants to sing

From the Sunday morning worship to the end of life

Diane, you will always be my sister in Christ

Oh, let's kick it to the choir, let the praises rise!

You will always be my sister in Christ
