Barbara

Sunlight pouring through the laundromat glass

I wasn't looking for love, just watching the time pass

Then you walked in, and the room caught a glow

Something in my spirit said I needed to know

The way you smiled, the way you moved your hands

I didn't have a line, I didn't have a plan

But we started talking while the machines spun around

And right there in the wash, look what I found

Barbara, you make me happy every single day

More than any simple melody could ever say

You're beautiful, you're strong, you're caring and true

My whole world is brighter just because of you

Yeah, my whole world is brighter just because of you

You got a heart so full of love, it overflows

And everywhere you walk, that warm energy goes

When the days get heavy, you're the strength that I need

You're the beautiful soul that planted the seed

From folding our clothes to holding you close at night

Everything you do just makes my life feel right

Barbara, you make me happy every single day

More than any simple melody could ever say

You're beautiful, you're strong, you're caring and true

My whole world is brighter just because of you

Yeah, my whole world is brighter just because of you

It started on a sunny day, a chance hello

Now I'm never gonna let this feeling go

We walked out those doors and we never looked back

Since the moment we met, it's been only love after that

Yeah, nothing but love after that

Oh Barbara, you make me happy every single day

More than any simple melody could ever say

You're beautiful, you're strong, you're caring and true

My whole world is brighter just because of you

Yeah, my whole world is brighter just because of you

Since that sunny day, I'm so in love with you
