Serenity rice

Sweet Serenity, my granddaughter, our little Rely, only five years old

Got a spirit full of sunshine and a heart of solid gold

Always singing, always dancing, spinning 'round the room

Making everybody laugh and chasing out the gloom

Now there's a sickness you are fighting, but you are oh so strong

We are wrapping you in love, and we're singing you this song

The whole city's wearing pink on Tuesdays just for you

Sending up a mighty prayer to pull our Rely through

We are looking for a miracle, expecting the impossible

We know the Lord is on the throne, and Jesus makes it possible

Yes, we're standing in the faith, and we're lifting up your name

With God's supernatural healing, you'll be dancing once again

I still remember Sunday morning, you took us by surprise

You stood right up to sing your song with fire in your eyes

You sang, "Jesus made it possible," with a voice so sweet and clear

Reminding every one of us that we don't have to fear

You said, "What's too hard for man is just right for the Lord"

Out of the mouth of a little child, His mighty truth was poured

The whole city's wearing pink on Tuesdays just for you

Sending up a mighty prayer to pull our Rely through

We are looking for a miracle, expecting the impossible

We know the Lord is on the throne, and Jesus makes it possible

Yes, we're standing in the faith, and we're lifting up your name

With God's supernatural healing, you'll be dancing once again

Lord, we lift her parents up, her sisters and her brother

Give them strength to hold the faith and comfort one another

We are leaning on Your promise, we are knocking on Your door

We believe in healing power like we never have before

Let them feel the love surround them from the family and the town

We won't let this mountain win, we won't let it keep her down

So keep on smiling, little Rely, keep that joyful spark

You're a beacon of His glory shining brightly in the dark

All your friends and the community are gathered near and far

Just remember who made it possible, and how loved you really are

The whole city's wearing pink on Tuesdays just for you

Sending up a mighty prayer to pull our Rely through

We are looking for a miracle, expecting the impossible

We know the Lord is on the throne, and Jesus makes it possible

What's too hard for man is just right for the Lord

We claim that supernatural healing, let His glory be restored!
