RJ

Sun comes up on a Sunday morning

Walking with you through the chapel doors

I look at you and my spirit's soaring

Thanking the Lord for what I'm living for

You’re so smart, with a mind so bright

Always got a funny joke to share the light

Sitting side by side while the choir sings

I wouldn't trade this feeling for a thousand things

Oh, RJ, you're a gift from above

Filling up my days with your caring love

Dada and son, yeah, we're walking in grace

With a kind heart shining right on your face

Hallelujah for the man you're growing to be

RJ, you're a beautiful blessing to me

Trade our Sunday shoes for the riverbank

Got a tackle box and the Lord to thank

Casting our lines out into the deep

These are the moments that my soul will keep

We laugh so hard when the bobber goes down

Waiting for the biggest catch swimming around

Just Dada and son, out under the sky

Watching this wonderful life roll by

Oh, RJ, you're a gift from above

Filling up my days with your caring love

Dada and son, yeah, we're walking in grace

With a kind heart shining right on your face

Hallelujah for the man you're growing to be

RJ, you're a beautiful blessing to me

You got a spirit that lifts me high

A caring soul and a clever eye

From the church house praying to the fishing pole

You bring the absolute joy to my soul!

Lord, I thank you for this boy!

Yes, I thank you for my son!

Oh, RJ, you're a gift from above

Filling up my days with your caring love

Dada and son, yeah, we're walking in grace

With a kind heart shining right on your face

Hallelujah for the man you're growing to be

RJ, you're a beautiful blessing to me

Yeah, Dada and son, walking side by side

RJ, you are my joy and my pride!
