Apostle Lennel McGee

Through the trials and the fire, we found grace

Gathered by the Spirit in this holy place

Apostle Lennel McGee, you showed the way

Teaching us to stand together as we pray

You were lifting up me when my spirit was weak

Giving me the courage to hear the Father speak

We are men of standard, walking in true love

Reflecting the mercy of Heaven above

We are men of standard, holding our brother's hand

United in the Spirit, together we stand

So let us lift our hands up high, for we have survived

We are men of standard, walking in true love

When the road was heavy and the valley was deep

You guarded the flock and you tended the sheep

Side by side, shoulder to shoulder in the light

Walking by our faith through the darkest night

You reached out your arms, lifting up me

Showing us the grace of what a brother should be

We are men of standard, walking in true love

Reflecting the mercy of Heaven above

We are men of standard, holding our brother's hand

United in the Spirit, together we stand

So let us lift our hands up high, for we have survived

We are men of standard, walking in true love

Praise to the Maker who carried us through

Binding our hearts and making us new

Thank you, Apostle, for the truth that you sow

Guiding our steps in the light that we know

We made it through the storm, we weathered the tide

With the strength of the Lord right here by our side

We are men of standard, walking in true love

Reflecting the mercy of Heaven above

We are men of standard, holding our brother's hand

United in the Spirit, together we stand

So let us lift our hands up high, for we have survived!

We are men of standard, walking in true love

Yes, we are men of standard, walking in true love
