This is How I Trust in You

Keys in the ignition, rolling down the street

Watchdog Luna riding in the passenger seat

We don't need a map, just a calling on my heart

Pulling over in the shadows just to be a spark

Telling every searching stranger that we meet

About the Savior who can make their life complete

This is how I trust in You

Stepping out in faith to see what You can do

Over a hundred souls have finally found the light

But we're still driving out into the night

You're not done with me, there's a long way to go

This is how I trust in You, Lord, this I know

Just a willing vessel and my faithful furry friend

Showing that Your mercy doesn't have an end

I remember every tear that hit the ground

When the heavy-hearted realized they were found

Just talking about Jesus from the driver's side

Watching all the doors of heaven open wide

This is how I trust in You

Stepping out in faith to see what You can do

Over a hundred souls have finally found the light

But we're still driving out into the night

You're not done with me, there's a long way to go

This is how I trust in You, Lord, this I know

The engine's running and the harvest field is great

I won't slow down, I know the broken cannot wait

With Luna watching and Your Spirit as my guide

I'll keep on moving, I have nothing left to hide

Use my life to reach the ones who need You most

From the quiet city corners to the coast

This is how I trust in You

Stepping out in faith to see what You can do

Over a hundred souls have finally found the light

But we're still driving out into the night

You're not done with me, there's a long way to go

This is how I trust in You, Lord, this I know

Yeah, there's a long way to go

This is how I trust in You
