Courageous Krys full of Bliss

October tenth, nineteen eighty

Ten PM, a Texas night

You made your entrance to the world

And filled my empty soul with light

I had been seeking something real

A true love sent from high above

You changed my life with just one breath

And finally gave me perfect love

Courageous Krys, so full of bliss

A child of God, so beautifully made

Independent, caring, full of love

With a creative light that will not fade

Because of where you've been, and all you've journeyed through

As your mother, I am so incredibly proud of you

Along the way, the road was hard

Life wasn't always kind to us

I was determined, through the tears

To give you everything I could

And just last year, you fought so brave

A courageous fight with cancer, won

Now starting your life over again

Well done, my girl, oh, so well done

Courageous Krys, so full of bliss

A child of God, so beautifully made

Independent, caring, full of love

With a creative light that will not fade

Because of where you've been, and all you've journeyed through

As your mother, I am so incredibly proud of you

He held you safely in His hands

Through the shadows and the rain

Now you love the people in your path

And bring them comfort in their pain

You stand so strong, you walk in grace

A masterpiece of Heaven's art

I thank the Father every day

For your tender, healing heart

Courageous Krys, so full of bliss

A child of God, so beautifully made

Independent, caring, full of love

With a creative light that will not fade

Because of where you've been, and all you've journeyed through

As your mother, I am so incredibly proud of you
