Junior

You’ve always got a joke to tell, a smile to light the room

A loving heart that chases off the shadows and the gloom

From running wild across the park to footprints in the sand

Just watching ocean waves roll in, holding Grandma's hand

Oh, Junior, keep on riding high, keep reaching for the sky

I'm cheering from the bleachers as the years go flying by

No matter where the trail leads, no matter what you do

Remember Grandma will be here, always loving you

I love to sit and watch you play out on the baseball dirt

Swinging for the fences with the number on your shirt

Then we head out to the rodeo to hear the roaring crowd

Seeing you up on a horse, you make me feel so proud

Oh, Junior, keep on riding high, keep reaching for the sky

I'm cheering from the bleachers as the years go flying by

No matter where the trail leads, no matter what you do

Remember Grandma will be here, always loving you

Whether you're in a helmet or a faded cowboy hat

Holding tight onto the reins or swinging with that bat

Just keep that loving heart of yours as open as the sea

You'll always be my special boy, you mean the world to me

Oh, Junior, keep on riding high, keep reaching for the sky

I'm cheering from the bleachers as the years go flying by

No matter where the trail leads, no matter what you do

Remember Grandma will be here, always loving you

Yes, Junior, Grandma will be here, always loving you
