Llz

Looking back at the middle school halls

When we were young and bouncing off the walls

Getting into trouble, just wild and free

But the Lord was writing out our history

He gave me a friend when I needed one most

A beautiful bond that I’ll always hold close

Oh, Llz, you're a beacon of light

Loving and kind, making everything right

Always so helpful, with a grateful heart

I pray to the Father we never part

You are a treasure, a friend so true

I thank God every day for the gift of you

You're the first to be funny and lighten the mood

Filled with a spirit of deep gratitude

Always the one who will reach out a hand

Following paths that the Maker has planned

You teach me to walk in forgiveness and grace

And put a bright smile right back on my face

Oh, Llz, you're a beacon of light

Loving and kind, making everything right

Always so helpful, with a grateful heart

I pray to the Father we never part

You are a treasure, a friend so true

I thank God every day for the gift of you

Through every season, whatever may come

I count my blessings, and you are the one

I want you here in my life till the end

A sister in spirit, my lifelong friend

Hallelujah for the memories we share

Held in His hands and covered in prayer

Oh, Llz, you're a beacon of light

Loving and kind, making everything right

Always so helpful, with a grateful heart

I pray to the Father we never part

You are a treasure, a friend so true

I thank God forever for the gift of you
