Zoe

February ninth, two thousand and nine

The very first moment your hand held mine

You came in the world and you brought the light

And made everything in my life feel right

Now I watch you grow, and I want you to see

That you are the greatest gift given to me

Zoe, my heart has no boundaries to the love I feel for you

It shines like a beacon, so steady and true

I will love you forever, through the wind and the water

I am blessed beyond measure to call you my daughter

You are loving and kind in the way that you care

Trusting God through the trials, breathing in every prayer

Faithful and obedient, you follow His word

Making sure that the truth of His spirit is heard

A strong and beautiful young lady today

Enduring like a warrior who won't back away

Zoe, my heart has no boundaries to the love I feel for you

It shines like a beacon, so steady and true

I will love you forever, through the wind and the water

I am blessed beyond measure to call you my daughter

Every minute we spend together is special to me

Watching the woman you were destined to be

Through all of the seasons, through all of the years

I'll be your safe haven, I'll dry all your tears

Oh Zoe, my heart has no boundaries to the love I feel for you

It shines like a beacon, so steady and true

I will love you forever, through the wind and the water

I am blessed beyond measure to call you my daughter

Yes, I'll love you forever, my beautiful Zoe

I am blessed beyond measure to call you my daughter
