Karla

Four years old, barely knew the world outside

But I felt the shift, a quiet peace arrive

Made Jesus my Lord, my Savior in the light

Little Karla learning how to walk by faith

Covered by His mercy, hidden in His grace

Been a long road from that early day

But the Shepherd never let me lose my way

Loving the Father, walking with the Son

Dancing with the Holy Ghost until the day is done

Yeah, I got that fire, that Holy Ghost fire inside

Let it burn bright, let it be my guide

Loving the Father, walking with the Son

Dancing with the Holy Ghost until the day is done

Had to take a detour, walked on the wild side

Testing out the waters, nowhere left to hide

But the wilderness was just a place to know

The power of the calling that I had to show

Had to see the dark to want to share the light

To bring that Holy Ghost fire into the night

Now I'm stepping out, walking with my King

Letting every testimony make me sing

Loving the Father, walking with the Son

Dancing with the Holy Ghost until the day is done

Yeah, I got that fire, that Holy Ghost fire inside

Let it burn bright, let it be my guide

Loving the Father, walking with the Son

Dancing with the Holy Ghost until the day is done

Dwelling in the secret place, Psalm ninety-one

Resting in His shadow till the battle's won

Loving with my heart and soul, my strength and mind

Deuteronomy six and five, leaving fear behind

Mark twelve thirty-one, love my neighbor as myself

That kind of spirit is my greatest wealth

Yeah, His word is the rhythm in my feet

Loving the Father, walking with the Son

Dancing with the Holy Ghost until the day is done

Yeah, I got that fire, that Holy Ghost fire inside

Let it burn bright, let it be my guide

Loving the Father, walking with the Son

Dancing with the Holy Ghost, yeah, we are one

Keep that fire inside
