Jordan

Jordan, I look at the man you're becoming

Protective and brave right from the start

You've always got a quick mind running

With so much courage in a brilliant heart

I'm proud to call you my grandson every day

Even when the miles are standing in the way

Oh, we love you and Ben, more than words can say

Thinking 'bout those memories down in sunny Fla

PopPop Poopyhead is waiting with a smile

I know it's been a little while

But we're keeping the front door open wide

Counting down the days until you're by our side

Yeah, we're looking forward to the moment now

When you're finally allowed to come back down

I still picture the two of you walking through the door

Bringing all that laughter into the room

We've got a million stories and we're ready for more

Just hoping that the time is coming soon

You always watch out for the people that you love

And that's exactly what I'm always thinking of

Oh, we love you and Ben, more than words can say

Thinking 'bout those memories down in sunny Fla

PopPop Poopyhead is waiting with a smile

I know it's been a little while

But we're keeping the front door open wide

Counting down the days until you're by our side

Yeah, we're looking forward to the moment now

When you're finally allowed to come back down

Distance is just a season that we have to weather

And there is nothing that can break this family tie

The second you get the green light to be together

We'll be waiting for you under that Florida sky

'Cause we love you and Ben, more than words can say

Holding onto memories down in sunny Fla

PopPop Poopyhead is waiting with a smile

We're gonna make the trip worth your while

Yeah, we're keeping the front door open wide

Counting down the days until you're by our side

We are looking forward to the moment now

When you're finally allowed to come back down
