Robert

Our mothers are sisters, they showed us the way

To walk in the Spirit, to bow down and pray

We grew up together, two branches, one tree

Robert, your laughter brought healing to me

So just hold on, when the shadows grow long

Just hold on, let His promise be strong

The Lord sees your loving, He knows your good heart

He’s walking beside you, He’ll never depart

Through every season, until the dawn

Robert, just hold on

You carry a kindness that comforts a room

A sense of humor that chases the gloom

But even the faithful can weary and bend

When the trials are heavy and seem not to end

So just hold on, when the shadows grow long

Just hold on, let His promise be strong

The Lord sees your loving, He knows your good heart

He’s walking beside you, He’ll never depart

Through every season, until the dawn

Robert, just hold on

I’m lifting you up to the heavens today

Asking the Father to light up your way

The blood that we share is a bond through it all

Lean into His mercy, He won't let you fall

So just hold on, when the shadows grow long

Just hold on, let His promise be strong

The Lord sees your loving, He knows your good heart

He’s walking beside you, He’ll never depart

Through every season, until the dawn

Robert, just hold on

Keep the faith, brother, just hold on
