Angie Vance

I open up the Bible, seeking light

To keep my honest spirit burning bright

I love the church, the family we share

The friendly smiles and the faithful prayer

I'm Angie, and I'm walking in Your grace

Finding my joy inside this holy place

I will pray with faith, believing I'll receive

I will trust the Lord, the anchor of my peace

He promised He will never leave me or forsake me

When I am weak, His gentle hands remake me

He'll always love me from the heavens up above

I am secure inside my Savior's love

I take the mic to sing with all the team

Pouring out my worship in a living stream

Then gathering the precious children round

Teaching them where Jesus can be found

And in the quiet hours, I intercede

Praying for my unsaved family

I will pray with faith, believing I'll receive

I will trust the Lord, the anchor of my peace

He promised He will never leave me or forsake me

When I am weak, His gentle hands remake me

He'll always love me from the heavens up above

I am secure inside my Savior's love

Praising my Lord and Savior, holding nothing back

With You beside me, there is nothing that I lack

Filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking in new tongues

The breath of Heaven filling up my lungs

Slain in the Spirit, resting on the floor

Surrendered to You, Lord, forevermore

I will pray with faith, believing I'll receive

I will trust the Lord, the anchor of my peace

He promised He will never leave me or forsake me

When I am weak, His gentle hands remake me

He'll always love me from the heavens up above

I am secure inside my Savior's love
