Joel

I thank the Lord for the day that He gave

A beautiful life for my hands to raise

I look at you and I see His grace

Shining so bright upon your face

Every morning I bow and pray

Thanking heaven for you today.

I love you, my son, with all of my heart

A beautiful blessing right from the start

I will always love you, my son, come what may

Lifting you up in my prayers every day

May the Lord guide your steps wherever you go

Joel, you are loved more than you'll ever know.

You are a patient and caring boy

Filling my spirit with heavenly joy

You have a kind and a gentle soul

Watching you grow makes my own life whole

You share the light that He placed inside

Walking in faith with your arms open wide.

I love you, my son, with all of my heart

A beautiful blessing right from the start

I will always love you, my son, come what may

Lifting you up in my prayers every day

May the Lord guide your steps wherever you go

Joel, you are loved more than you'll ever know.

No matter where this journey may lead

He will provide you with all that you need

Through every season, the dark and the light

You are so precious in heaven's sight

And here on this earth, I just want to say

I am so proud of you, day after day.

I love you, my son, with all of my heart

A beautiful blessing right from the start

I will always love you, my son, come what may

Lifting you up in my prayers every day

May the Lord guide your steps wherever you go

Joel, you are loved more than you'll ever know.
