In the quiet of the morning, before the sun breaks through

At five-thirty I am praying, fixing my eyes on You

Leading intercession, seeking out Your grace

I find my greatest comfort resting in Your secret place

Waiting on the HOLY SPIRIT, listening for the King

To write the faithful poetry His gentle whispers bring

Oh, Deborah, remember, when the heavy winds blow

GOD is in the storm with you, HE will never let you go

Don't you sink in hopelessness, don't you yield to the despair

Love the LORD your GOD first, and know that HE is there

Then love yourself completely, let the living water grow

Until it reaches everyone in a holy overflow

I look back on the trials, the valleys I walked through

I remember all the healing that I received from You

HE gave me strength to make it, HE pulled me from the dark

The moment CHRIST forever saved and purified my heart

I cherish all my family, every memory we've made

But being called a child of GOD is a light that will not fade

To my husband and my eight kids, and the family that I love

Every ounce of my affection comes directly from above

I want to be a vessel, I want to share HIS grace

To show the value of a soul in every single face

I'm a servant of the Savior, grounded in HIS Word

My greatest joy is resting in the presence of the LORD

So when the storm clouds gather, and the rain begins to fall

I will stand upon the Solid Rock, the Maker of it all

I will never lose my footing, I will never lose my way

For the GOD who healed my body walks beside me every day
