Ashleigh

We’re curled up on the sofa with a movie on the screen

Eating all our favorite foods, the happiest I've been

Laughing at our crazy family, you're adventurous and smart

So kind and brave and funny, right from the very start

Oh, Ashleigh, being your mam is the best part of me

You’re an amazing woman, plain for anyone to see

A truly gifted teacher who is loved by everyone

I’m so incredibly proud of the person you've become

Sharing cwtches with sweet Dolly, then we're walking the dogs

Heading out on a road trip, rolling through the morning fog

Driving down to the beach, you know that’s our happy place

With the windows rolled down and the ocean breeze on your face

Oh, Ashleigh, being your mam is the best part of me

You’re an amazing woman, plain for anyone to see

A truly gifted teacher who is loved by everyone

I’m so incredibly proud of the person you've become

It’s been a beautiful journey, every memory we've made

Through the sunshine and the seasons, the colors never fade

You share your light with the world, setting an example for the youth

I can't wait for the next chapter, and watching you shine through

'Cause Ashleigh, being your mam is the best part of me

You’re an amazing woman, plain for anyone to see

A truly gifted teacher who is loved by everyone

I’m so incredibly proud of the person you've become

Yeah, being your mam is the best part of me
