Sierra

Sitting here across the room, just talking through the night

Sharing mother-daughter secrets in the fading light

We start out deep and serious, then we just start to smile

Laughing at our inside jokes and staying for a while

I look at who you've grown to be, so beautiful and true

I see the hand of heaven when I'm looking right at you

Sierra, you're extraordinary, shining from within

A loving heart, a gentle soul where all my joys begin

And as you walk this journey, whatever mountains stand

Remember that your future is resting in His hands

Keep holding on to faith, let His spirit be your guide

Through God all things are possible, He's always by your side

You carry so much wisdom now, a spirit so mature

Your kindness is a steady rock, your foundation is sure

In every little moment, in the laughter that we share

I thank the Lord above for the bond that we've built there

You face the world with open arms, so radiant and bright

Reflecting all His glory and stepping in the light

Sierra, you're extraordinary, shining from within

A loving heart, a gentle soul where all my joys begin

And as you walk this journey, whatever mountains stand

Remember that your future is resting in His hands

Keep holding on to faith, let His spirit be your guide

Through God all things are possible, He's always by your side

When the road gets heavy, or the shadows try to fall

Just lift your eyes to heaven, He will answer when you call

You are a living promise, a blessing I can see

The daughter that I prayed for, exactly who you're meant to be

Oh, Sierra, you're extraordinary, shining from within

A loving heart, a gentle soul where all my joys begin

And as you walk this journey, whatever mountains stand

Remember that your future is resting in His hands

Keep holding on to faith, let His spirit be your guide

Through God all things are possible, He's always by your side
