Sonia

Lord, I thank You for the gift You gave to me

A gentle spirit, beautiful and free

Sonia, you speak with such a quiet grace

Bringing Heaven's peace into an earthly place

You have a heart that overflows with care

A tender kind of love that’s always there

When you smile and say, "I love you more"

It's a grace my spirit is grateful for

I praise the Lord for the daughter He gave to me

And I tell you, Sonia, I love you infinity

When shadows fell and my world was torn apart

Walking through the pain of a broken heart

And when I lost my mother to the sky

You were the one who wiped the tears from my eye

You held my hand through the darkest of the night

God used your softly spoken words to bring the light

When you smile and say, "I love you more"

It's a grace my spirit is grateful for

I praise the Lord for the daughter He gave to me

And I tell you, Sonia, I love you infinity

You would do anything for a soul in need

Planting His comfort like a holy seed

Selfless and kind in the things you do

I see the love of the Savior in you

A mother's prayer answered from above

Wrapped in a lifetime of unending love

So when you whisper, "I love you more"

It's the greatest blessing I could ask Him for

I praise the Lord for the daughter He gave to me

And I tell you, Sonia, I love you infinity

Yes, I promise, Sonia, I love you infinity
