Heather

You're the first one walking through the door

Giving your all and then giving some more

A heavy job, but you carry it all

Catching our hands anytime that we fall

Director and guide with a steady heart

Helping us figure out where to start

Heather, you shine with a heavenly light

Showing us Jesus in the middle of the fight

You take the hard days and make them feel small

Making recovery easier for us all

I just want to say it, loud and true

Heather, I love you

Sometimes the mountain is too hard to climb

Taking the struggle one step at a time

But you bring the grace and you bring the Word

Making sure every single story is heard

You work so hard just to clear the way

Breathing new hope into every day

Heather, you shine with a heavenly light

Showing us Jesus in the middle of the fight

You take the hard days and make them feel small

Making recovery easier for us all

I just want to say it, loud and true

Heather, I love you

It’s more than a title, it’s a soul that cares

Lifting us up in your quiet prayers

You walk beside us when the road gets steep

Guiding the promises we're trying to keep

Heather, you shine with a heavenly light

Showing us Jesus in the middle of the fight

You take the hard days and make them feel small

Making recovery easier for us all

I just want to say it, loud and true

Thank you, Heather, I love you
