Chelsea

I remember the moment they put you in my arms

Wrapped up in a blanket, safe from any harm

I was blowing out the candles, a wish had just come true

Because my birthday present, babygirl, was you

Oh, Chelsea, my beautiful girl

You brought so much meaning into my world

With a caring soul and a loving mind

You're the sweetest blessing I could ever find

No matter the distance keeping us apart

I miss you, babygirl, with all my heart

The years keep on turning, the seasons fade away

But I still see your smile like it was yesterday

You grew up so beautiful, inside and out

You're everything I'm proud of, without a single doubt

Oh, Chelsea, my beautiful girl

You brought so much meaning into my world

With a caring soul and a loving mind

You're the sweetest blessing I could ever find

No matter the distance keeping us apart

I miss you, babygirl, with all my heart

Every time the calendar brings our special day around

I thank the Lord above for the treasure that I found

I might not get to hold you or see you face to face

But no one else could ever take your place

Oh, Chelsea, my beautiful girl

You brought so much meaning into my world

With a caring soul and a loving mind

You're the sweetest blessing I could ever find

No matter the distance keeping us apart

I miss you, babygirl, with all my heart

Yeah, I love you, Chelsea, with all my heart
