melea

Melea, you were our firstborn, the one who made us whole

A little girl with a tender heart and a beautiful, bright soul

Through all the years and all the changes, the good times and the bad

You’ve always been right there for me, and right there for your dad

Now we look at you, Melea, and our hearts just overflow

Seeing the woman you've become, watching your own family grow

You work so hard to give her everything under the sun

We love you and we're so proud of the mother you've become

Of all the memories we have made, the one that shines so bright

Is the day you had your little girl and held her in the light

We watched you find a brand new strength, a quiet kind of grace

The moment that you looked into our sweet granddaughter's face

Now we look at you, Melea, and our hearts just overflow

Seeing the woman you've become, watching your own family grow

You work so hard to give her everything under the sun

We love you and we're so proud of the mother you've become

We see how hard you work for her, to give her all you can

You're building up a beautiful life with your own two loving hands

Just know your dad and I are here, wherever you may go

We just wanted to sing this song to make sure that you know

When we look at you, Melea, our hearts just overflow

Seeing the woman you've become, watching your own family grow

You work so hard to give her everything under the sun

We love you and we're so proud of the mother you've become

Yeah, you'll always be our firstborn, our precious little one

And we love you, Melea, for the mother you've become
