Falon

I remember the season the Lord crossed our ways

A critical moment, a turning of days

You needed a father to stand by your side

And Heaven provided with arms open wide

You walked in my life, a pure gift from above

My beautiful Falon, so easy to love

You are the only rose in my garden

My only daughter, a sight to behold

Tender-hearted, wise, and independent

With a faith in God more precious than gold

We didn't share the same name from the start

But Falon, I love you with all of my heart

I watch how you worship, I see how you pray

So strong and so wise in the paths that you take

You're fiercely independent, yet gentle and kind

A more beautiful spirit I never could find

I'm honored to be your dad through the years

My bonus daughter, through joy and through tears

You are the only rose in my garden

My only daughter, a sight to behold

Tender-hearted, wise, and independent

With a faith in God more precious than gold

We didn't share the same name from the start

But Falon, I love you with all of my heart

Some bonds are made by the blood in our veins

But ours was designed by the Maker of rain

He saw you in need, and He knew I was too

My greatest blessing was Heaven sending you

I thank the Lord for the family He weaves

And the beautiful daughter that I get to keep

'Cause you are the only rose in my garden

My only daughter, a sight to behold

Tender-hearted, wise, and independent

With a faith in God more precious than gold

We didn't share the same name from the start

But Falon, I love you with all of my heart

Yes Falon, I love you with all of my heart
