Nevaeh

My sweet daughter Nevaeh, I look at your face

And see a beautiful spirit so full of grace

You have a smart mind and a caring soul

Always trying to make other people feel whole

Ever since you were young, you’ve loved the Lord

Holding so tightly to His holy word

So let the prayer of faith be spoken out loud

Let the healing of Heaven come pouring down

When your body is weary, just call on His name

The Lord will raise you up, you won't be the same

We stand on the promise, we trust in His love

Nevaeh, His hands are reaching from above

You are so kind to everyone you meet

Walking out your devotion with willing feet

But even the brightest heart sometimes needs a hand

When the valley is low and it's harder to stand

So we gather around you to lift up your name

Knowing His mercy is always the same

So let the prayer of faith be spoken out loud

Let the healing of Heaven come pouring down

When your body is weary, just call on His name

The Lord will raise you up, you won't be the same

We stand on the promise, we trust in His love

Nevaeh, His hands are reaching from above

We bring the oil and we bow our heads

Trusting exactly what James five has said

The prayer offered up is going to make you well

It’s a story of triumph that we get to tell

Forgiveness and grace are flooding the room

Chasing away all the shadows and gloom

So let the prayer of faith be spoken out loud

Let the healing of Heaven come pouring down

When your body is weary, just call on His name

The Lord will raise you up, you won't be the same

We stand on the promise, we trust in His love

Nevaeh, His hands are reaching from above
