Matt

You’ve got a peaceful kind of spirit, a gentle way to be

When I’m complaining about things at home, you always listen to me

You know exactly how to make me laugh when the day goes wrong

You’ve got a kind and giving heart, Matt, and that is where I belong

So I'm wishing you luck in Kentucky

And a whole lot of happiness, too

No matter the roads that are waiting ahead

Sharing each other is what we do

May the bluegrass sky bring you all that you need

I’m cheering you on, baby, take the lead

You're my brave and fearless hero when a shadow hits the wall

My official spider killer, you always answer the call

It’s all the funny little things you say that show me how you care

We're sharing each other's lives, building something beautiful and rare

So I'm wishing you luck in Kentucky

And a whole lot of happiness, too

No matter the roads that are waiting ahead

Sharing each other is what we do

May the bluegrass sky bring you all that you need

I’m cheering you on, baby, take the lead

A new state line and a brand new start

With so much joy waiting to fill up your heart

I want you to chase every dream that you see

And know that you mean the whole world to me

So I'm wishing you luck in Kentucky

And a whole lot of happiness, too

No matter the roads that are waiting ahead

Sharing each other is what we do

May the bluegrass sky bring you all that you need

I love you, Matt, go and plant that seed
