Jy’Mir

I still remember that very first day

The second they placed you right into my arms

All of the struggle just faded away

I was instantly caught by your sweet little charms

I looked in your eyes and I finally knew

My purpose was waiting, and baby, it's you

Jy’Mir, you’re the best thing that happened to me

So funny and sweet, with that bright energy

You're so charismatic, you light up the room

Chasing away any shadows or gloom

I promise to hold you through every chapter

I’ll love you for life, and I’ll love you right after

I still see you wobbling, taking a stand

Your very first steps as you let go of my hand

And nothing compares to the sound of your voice

When you finally said "mama" and made me rejoice

From your first birthday party, the cake on your face

To the beautiful boy you're becoming with grace

Jy’Mir, you’re the best thing that happened to me

So funny and sweet, with that bright energy

You're so charismatic, you light up the room

Chasing away any shadows or gloom

I promise to hold you through every chapter

I’ll love you for life, and I’ll love you right after

No matter how big or how tall you might grow

There is one simple truth that I need you to know

You're my wonderful son, you're the beat of my heart

And time could never pull us apart

‘Cause Jy’Mir, you’re the best thing that happened to me

So funny and sweet, with that bright energy

You're so charismatic, you light up the room

Chasing away any shadows or gloom

I promise to hold you through every chapter

I’ll love you for life, and I’ll love you right after

Yeah, I'll love you for life, and I'll love you right after
