Carmen

I look back to the altar, the day that we were wed

The covenant we made, the sacred words we said

Carmen, you have walked with me with patient, quiet grace

A wisdom from the Lord that shines upon your face

Thank God for the calling He placed upon our lives

Nuestros viajes a predicar, with my wife by my side

We carry the gospel wherever we may go

A love built on the Rock, watching His kingdom grow

When spiritual battles rise and the shadows gather there

I find my strength in the sound of a Humboldt warrior's prayer

You lift your hands to Heaven, you fight upon your knees

Speaking with a bold belief that makes the darkness flee

Thank God for the calling He placed upon our lives

Nuestros viajes a predicar, with my wife by my side

We carry the gospel wherever we may go

A love built on the Rock, watching His kingdom grow

Every mile that we travel, every soul that we reach

Is a testament of grace in the messages we preach

Side by side in the Spirit, hand in hand in the light

With you, my beautiful Carmen, the path is always bright

Thank God for the calling He placed upon our lives

Nuestros viajes a predicar, with my wife by my side

We carry the gospel wherever we may go

A love built on the Rock, watching His kingdom grow

Hallelujah for this journey, watching His kingdom grow
