Charlotte

The plates are out, the chairs are pulled close

It’s these simple moments I treasure the most

You fill up the room with a welcoming light

Making sure everyone is doing alright

Charlotte, you’re the center of this home

Always making sure we never feel alone

Oh, the love you have for this family

Is the strongest force that I’ll ever see

Through every season, through every year

You’re the reason we all gather here

Thank you, Mom, for all that you do

I’m so lucky to be loved by you

Passing the dishes and sharing the day

You always know exactly what you should say

Laughter is echoing off of the walls

You built a safe haven to catch us if we fall

Every dinner you make from the start

Is just another piece of your beautiful heart

Oh, the love you have for this family

Is the strongest force that I’ll ever see

Through every season, through every year

You’re the reason we all gather here

Thank you, Mom, for all that you do

I’m so lucky to be loved by you

If I haven't said it enough, let me say it right now

You hold us together, you always know how

This message from Matthew is long overdue

There is nobody else in the world quite like you

Oh, the love you have for this family

Is the strongest force that I’ll ever see

Through every season, through every year

You’re the reason we all gather here

Thank you, Mom, for all that you do

I’m so lucky to be loved by you
