Ava

I still remember the midway lights shining

The noise of the fair and the summer breeze blowing

You walked through the crowd, looking so angelic

My heart skipped a beat without even knowing

You had a spark in your eyes I couldn't ignore

And every day since, I've just loved you more

We're riding this crazy journey we call life together

Holding your hand through the changing weather

You're sensitive and caring, a joyful soul

With a beautiful heart made of solid gold

Living in this crazy world, just the two of us

My sweet Ava, the one I trust

I thought that my heart couldn't love any deeper

Then I saw you hold our daughter in your arms

You're so accomplished, so selfless and steady

Keeping our little family safe from harm

With every encouraging word that you say

You chase all the shadows and worries away

We're riding this crazy journey we call life together

Holding your hand through the changing weather

You're sensitive and caring, a joyful soul

With a beautiful heart made of solid gold

Living in this crazy world, just the two of us

My sweet Ava, the one I trust

When the road gets tough and the miles get long

Your love is the melody to my song

Spending this life with my favorite girl

A quiet little heaven in a spinning world

We're riding this crazy journey we call life together

Holding your hand through the changing weather

You're sensitive and caring, a joyful soul

With a beautiful heart made of solid gold

Living in this crazy world, just the two of us

My sweet Ava, the one I trust

Yeah, spending forever, just the two of us

My beautiful Ava, the one I trust
