Elizabeth

Looking back to where our story starts

God was writing it upon our hearts

Across a table at a Ruby Tuesday

I felt His grace moving in a new way

I didn't know the journey we would share

But I knew the Lord had led me there

Elizabeth, you are my answered prayer

A generous spirit, a love beyond compare

So kind and gentle, a blessing from above

I thank the Maker for the gift of your love

Through every season, whatever we go through

I will always, always love you

We walked the grounds of Walt Disney World

I got down on one knee to ask my girl

To build a life, a covenant of grace

Right there in that magical place

Now you're my Pookie, and I'm your Pookie Bear

A sweet devotion in the life we share

Elizabeth, you are my answered prayer

A generous spirit, a love beyond compare

So kind and gentle, a blessing from above

I thank the Maker for the gift of your love

Through every season, whatever we go through

I will always, always love you

Your heart is open, your hands are always giving

You show me what it means to be truly living

I lift my hands and I raise up a song

To praise the Father who knew all along

That two intertwined by His holy design

Would stand the test of time

Elizabeth, you are my answered prayer

A generous spirit, a love beyond compare

So kind and gentle, a blessing from above

I thank the Maker for the gift of your love

Through every season, whatever we go through

I will always, always love you

Yes, I will always, always love you
