Steven

November tenth, ninety-two, you caught my eye

At Blue Fitness, we couldn't let the moment pass by

The very next evening, we were out on a date

I was looking at you, I was looking at fate

You’ve always had this energy, a spark in your soul

So intelligent and steady, boy, you make me whole

Always willing to help, always doing your part

You took care of me right from the very first start

Oh, Steven, thirty years of this beautiful ride

I’m so lucky to be the woman right by your side

You’re so patient and kind, the rock of this home

The sweetest love story that I've ever known

Like Cinderella in a carriage, you made dreams come true

And our story continues, just me and you

An enchanted evening up at Hotel Thayer

West Point magic breathing in the midnight air

A horse and a carriage, a promise to keep

I fell for you, baby, so deep and so sweet

July of ninety-six, St. Margaret’s in the sun

At Marvello’s we danced, our forever begun

Then May brought us Joseph in two thousand and one

And October gave us Kristen, look at all we have done

You take care of this family, you give us your all

Catching every piece of us before we can fall

I know you love music, so I give you this song

A gift from Michele, who has loved you all along

Oh, Steven, thirty years of this beautiful ride

I’m so lucky to be the woman right by your side

You’re so patient and kind, the rock of this home

The sweetest love story that I've ever known

Like Cinderella in a carriage, you made dreams come true

And our story continues, just me and you
