Phillip

You wrap your arms around me, make me feel so safe

A protective kind of love that time could never erase

And when the world gets heavy, you know just what to say

You bring the laughter, Phillip, chase the dark away

You’ve got a caring heart, you give it all you’ve got

But I need to tell you something that you might’ve forgot

I want you to know you are loved by God

Guided by His hand through the paths you walk

You were chosen, baby, you are not a mistake

There’s a beautiful purpose in the life you make

Hold your head up high, let the spirit shine through

Heaven knew exactly what it did when it made you

Sometimes the daily grind can make you lose your view

But I see the holy light reflecting right off you

You're the rock of my world, the one who stands so tall

But even strong men need to know they're caught before they fall

So let me be the voice to remind your soul today

You're walking in His grace, every step of the way

I want you to know you are loved by God

Guided by His hand through the paths you walk

You were chosen, baby, you are not a mistake

There’s a beautiful purpose in the life you make

Hold your head up high, let the spirit shine through

Heaven knew exactly what it did when it made you

Every joke you tell, every tear you dry

It’s all a part of the design, written in the sky

No accidents, no second guess, you’re meant to be right here

My loving husband, let me make it clear

You are worthy of the blessings, worthy of the light

Everything you are is beautifully right

I want you to know you are loved by God

Guided by His hand through the paths you walk

You were chosen, baby, you are not a mistake

There’s a beautiful purpose in the life you make

Hold your head up high, let the spirit shine through

Heaven knew exactly what it did when it made you
