Rosemarie

You were the laughter breaking through the grey

A fierce defender when the world grew cold

Oh, Rosemarie, you chased the dark away

With a protective spirit, brave and bold

You stood your ground for everyone you loved

A faithful friend reflecting grace above

But Heaven called you home a bit too soon

And we are left to navigate the tears

We miss you so much in the empty room

We'll carry you through all our coming years

Lord, hold her in Your everlasting light

Our Rosemarie, until we reunite

You held your sisters in a deep embrace

A bond of family nothing could undo

And every animal that crossed your space

Found a gentle, quiet friend in you

From Ethel to Tilly, the jokes we'd share

I reach out my hand, and I wish you were there

But Heaven called you home a bit too soon

And we are left to navigate the tears

We miss you so much in the empty room

We'll carry you through all our coming years

Lord, hold her in Your everlasting light

Our Rosemarie, until we reunite

We thank You, God, for the time we had

For the funny moments that made us glad

She was a shelter, a loyal guide

Now she is resting by the Savior's side

Heaven called you home a bit too soon

And we are left to navigate the tears

We miss you so much in the empty room

We'll carry you through all our coming years

Lord, hold her in Your everlasting light

Oh, Rosemarie, until we reunite
