Michael Williams

I count the daily blessings that are sent my way

But Michael Williams, you're the one who lights my day

Working with the kids, I see your gentle heart

So funny and so wise, a spirit set apart

Whenever I am heavy, whenever I am low

You bring a kind of joy that makes my spirit glow

It makes my day just to hear your voice

I see your beautiful smile and my soul can rejoice

I pray for love and happiness in everything you do

I am sending all my care and devotion to you

And I hope one day, as the journey extends

We can be a little more than just friends

Those moments on the phone when the hours slip by

You lift my weary spirit and you elevate me high

You're a pillar in my life, so important to my soul

Your encouraging wisdom always makes me whole

No matter what you face, no matter what is new

I promise I will always be right there for you

It makes my day just to hear your voice

I see your beautiful smile and my soul can rejoice

I pray for love and happiness in everything you do

I am sending all my care and devotion to you

And I hope one day, as the journey extends

We can be a little more than just friends

Every single morning, you bring happiness to me

A light breaking through so my heavy heart is free

I wish you every joy for the rest of your life

Through the calm and the storm, through the peace and the strife

I'll be there no matter what, through the highs and the lows

Praying for the day this connection grows

Oh, it makes my day just to hear your voice

I see your beautiful smile and my soul can rejoice

I pray for love and happiness in everything you do

I am sending all my care and devotion to you

And I hope one day, as the journey extends

We can be a little more than just friends

Yes, Michael, so much more than just friends
