Tishika

A gift from Heaven in the month of my birth

The sweetest blessing that I’ve known on this earth

Tishika, my daughter, my heart swells with pride

Watching the Savior be your strength and your guide

You seek His presence in all that you do

And I thank the Father for giving me you

Oh, I will bless the Lord at all times

His praise will forever be in my mouth

We look to Him and our faces shine

His mercy is water that won't run out

So magnify the Lord with me

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good

You pour out your love as a mother so kind

A teacher who nurtures and guides the young mind

An RN with healing and grace in your hands

You faithfully walk where the Spirit commands

You carry the burdens of those who are weak

Reflecting the love of the Savior we seek

Oh, I will bless the Lord at all times

His praise will forever be in my mouth

We look to Him and our faces shine

His mercy is water that won't run out

So magnify the Lord with me

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good

The angel of the Lord encamps around

His faithful children where His peace is found

He hears your prayers when you call out His name

He saves the crushed spirit and covers the shame

Tishika, keep trusting the path you have trod

And rest in the glorious goodness of God

Oh, I will bless the Lord at all times

His praise will forever be in my mouth

We look to Him and our faces shine

His mercy is water that won't run out

So magnify the Lord with me

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good

Yes, taste and see that the Lord is good
