Rex

I fell in love the very first time that our eyes met

A pure and beautiful heart I never will forget

You are so patient, so loving, and so kind

The sweetest affection that I could ever find

I get to wake up beside you in the morning light

And lay down next to my one and only every night

Rex, what makes me love you more than words can say

Is the amazing love you have for God every day

You are the Christian husband I was praying for

My sweet love forever, who could ask for more?

I lift my hands in praise for the life we share

You are my blessing from God, the answer to my prayer

I still remember the beauty of our wedding day

When I said yes to being yours forever and always

I am so honored to be your helpmate in this life

So proud and so grateful just to be your wife

We spend our moments laughing, sharing all our joy

Wrapped up in a sweet love that nothing can destroy

Rex, what makes me love you more than words can say

Is the amazing love you have for God every day

You are the Christian husband I was praying for

My sweet love forever, who could ask for more?

I lift my hands in praise for the life we share

You are my blessing from God, the answer to my prayer

You always put the needs of others far above your own

Making sure I’m good and taken care of in our home

Your kindness is a testament to grace from up above

I see the Lord’s reflection in your amazing love

Rex, what makes me love you more than words can say

Is the amazing love you have for God every day

You are the Christian husband I was praying for

My sweet love forever, today and evermore

To my one and only, I will always hold you near

My blessing from God, I'm so glad that you are here
