Nikki

A single picture on a glowing screen

A quiet spark that changed my everything

I didn't know the blessing on the way

Or how my heart would finally find its place

We fell in love, and now I clearly see

The grace that brought you right in front of me

Nikki, you are the love of my life

A radiant soul, my beautiful wife

So smart and so funny, a light in the dark

The absolute center and beat of my heart

I lift up my hands for the gift that I see

You will always be the better half of me

From traveling the world to the deck of a cruise

I’m anchored in peace when I'm standing with you

But the greatest of journeys is watching you care

For the children we love, pouring all of you there

And when I am weary or needing a rest

You hold me together and give me your best

Nikki, you are the love of my life

A radiant soul, my beautiful wife

So smart and so funny, a light in the dark

The absolute center and beat of my heart

I lift up my hands for the gift that I see

You will always be the better half of me

Through every season, through the highs and lows

Your tender devotion is the sweetest I know

You heal my rough edges, you make me feel whole

The truest companion, the rest for my soul

Nikki, you are the love of my life

A radiant soul, my beautiful wife

So smart and so funny, a light in the dark

The absolute center and beat of my heart

I lift up my hands for the gift that I see

You will always be the better half of me

Oh, you will always be the better half of me
